@jagepadenn@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W So you only pick out one point in my post? My entire point was that walk in touchdowns are so rare compared to the mistakes the bengals made. I only found a handful of other examples in the history of the nfl. There were 4 muffed punts this past week. Read the full context.
@jagepadenn@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Here you go. Rare. I was slightly off on my 4 total. Still literally not a legitimate play to say "it's part of the game" like an interception, muffed punt, etc. Either way, get back to work and make that cheddar.
@jagepadenn@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Sorry. I said 3 other times in the history of the nfl…it was 4. The point still remains - it’s very rare - those 4 names are over years and years. Meaning rarely happens. Not normal. Goodnight Lil bro.
@BengalsNation8@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W My whole point was…the guy I was responding to said if the bengals didn’t do this or that they would have won by 10. You can literally say that in every game for every team (except the dolphins). Just pointing out that the Steelers also had weird things happen in the game.
@BengalsNation8@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Literally doesn’t. People trip all the time - sure, but the nearest defender was 15 yards away when he fell. It was literally a walk in touchdown which is very rare.
@jagepadenn@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Your video further validates my point. Walk in touchdowns…VERY FEW. 99% of those clips are random plays that weren’t just the goal line and the player. It’s a rare thing to have an easy walk in touchdown as it is…but then to fall down with no one anywhere near you is more rare
@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Regardless, both teams had their share fair of mistakes. I was at the game and couldn’t tell if DK’s hold was actually a hold, but I did notice the ref waited until Warren got to the 40 before he threw the flag that happened at the 14. Good game to be at.
@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Tripping with a walk in touchdown is “just the game”? That’s happened approximately 3 other times in the history of the nfl. A fumbled punt happens once a week. Roughing the kicker a few times a year. A pick off the hands happens quite often, but still fluky.
@PDyerJ@Matt_C_W Or look at it in a different lens…Wilson doesn’t drop that perfectly thrown pass for a pick and the Steelers go up at least 10 before the half instead of a tied game…and Warren doesn’t get tackled by the field with a walk in touchdown…Steelers by 10+. That’s just the game.
@elonmusk@elonmusk drop them both under $100k and they’ll move. The X is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned and will be disappointed to not have the opportunity to get another one down the road.
@jrmiller777@StatsGuyDaniel I see what you’re saying and I’d be interested in seeing the data on that. But this particular angle of it just implies they were never out of contention like the Browns typically are in week 10 (meaning they would have 8 meaningless games out of playoff contention).
