@GongGasGirl When you’ve been administered dexamethasone BEFORE propofol, the burning / stinging / itching / sparkle / hot water that seems cold is irrelevant. I BEGGED for propofol !! And cussed out the anesthesia team until it took effect.
@lflorshaw giving dog a bath, cutting grass - pretty much anything that requires little mental attention and permits either listening to music or having no thoughts at all. Hmmmm sounds like an ethnographic study of highly-productive people who work from home?!?!?
@lflorshaw Yes. As if the manual labor re-energizes the mental activity, which is necessarily physically stationary, except for typing and doing whatever semi-unconscious ticks I do when writing. Scrubbing floors, folding laundry, vacuuming, organizing closets, filling donation bags. . .
