@dogwoodblooms Totally, understand. I wonder who the listed 828 employees are and what town departments that serve. More of less, CARY has about 200 Leo’s who I would assume are issued town p-cards for gas purchase. I just wish the OSA’s office did ga better job of who spent what.

@tcmom7088 @TBradleyNC That’s sounds like a quick fix but it doesn’t fix the issue. They are waiting a prison transfer, the state is probably backlogged and probably doesn’t have the space for a large influx of new prisoners across the state.

@TBradleyNC If they are waiting on transfer to a state prison, the state is the problem here….it’s obvious that the state doesn’t have bed space for these people to go, I’m pretty sure the same is true at the Wake County Jail, people needing to go to prison but can’t.

@CedarPosts @CMPD Maybe I’m missing something, but people’s condition can worsen over time… additionally, they can’t release the hospital as it PHI. Everyone is covered by PHI, no matter which hospital you go to.

@gerardskippy @CedarPosts Obviously you don’t know much about the Wake County jail, because ICE gets people routinely. Additionally, the Wake County jail is overcrowded, probably more so than Mecklenburg.

@RobertBurns82 @L1569Uptown As the mayor, Robert Burns should know that law enforcement can’t prevent crime from happening - It’s just not feasible. Local law enforcement was not working this event, however, they responded pretty damn quickly. Wake Co So is the lead agency on this incident in Zebulon.

@dogwoodblooms I’m curious as to how many of you’ll point to Barack Obama as the root cause of it…let’s not pretend like the United States is a perfect nation with a clean past or even current day clean slate. Even now, in the criminal justice system people aren’t treated the same.

@CedarPosts However, the sheriffs office has no recommendations in the bonds or conditions of release. That relies heavily on the courts, based on the laws passed by the legislature.
