@mark_oprea if a road between the two were built, and Blossom shuttle trams were used, you'd have train access to Blossom from Independence on the north to downtown Akron on the south.
The the CVSR could function as actual transit, rather than an amusement park ride for seniors.

WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT was released 36 years ago today. A groundbreaking blend of live action and animation, and one of the most popular films of director Robert Zemeckis, the behind the scenes story isn’t bad, it’s just drawn that way…

@GregVanBelle Anybody who takes their gardening seriously avoids Home Depot. Plant quality is low, and their prices on supplies as high or higher than anyone else.
1. The local Ace store services our community with a large number of century homes. The owner is committed to us, knows his stuff and stocks accordingly.
2. Home Depot/Lowe's only has what you need to build a MIL suite, and the help there know nothing.
Ace Hardware has an unconventional business model in the US. The stores are independently owned purchasing cooperatives.. so the stores are all owned locally, but they buy in bulk together.
Unlike Home Depot, its profits stay in the neighborhood, not extracted by shareholders.
@Tribe_XX We moved back to NYC in March 1983 and marveled at seeing these chalk works drawn in vacant ad spaces (which the MTA painted black when not in use) in the subways in the lower Manhattan. That was our introduction to Keith Haring.
@SkrticX I worked a few blocks away, but never seemed to get lunch there.
Used as a location for the bio-pic AMERICAN SPLENDOR (2003), based on the works of local comics legend Harvey Pekar. The restaurant was a stand-in for Irv's on Coventry, which was long gone by that time.
