End-to-End latency

The #TON #blockchain has achieved excellent scalability results: this is evidenced by 50x growth over the past year and completed huge token mintings of gaming projects with multi-million user audiences.

Last year we prepared a big Accelerator update that will further increase bandwidth, increase overall limits and stabilize block time so that it does not depend on load. It was on this update that we showed the world record on the performance test. Now we are iteratively rolling out this update to the #TON main network.

In addition, we have set a new goal to reduce End-to-End latency in $TON (the time from sending a transaction until the user receives the result).

Our research and detailed action plan (some of which has already been done) has been published in the #TON Optimization Roadmap.

Another parallel direction is Sidechains or Layer 2 solutions for $TON. You can read about what has been done in this direction in the TON/TVM Sidechains Overview.
