A4 If I was to leave my k-12 job it would be to open either my own bakery or daycare. I love decorating big cakes like you see on TV. My mom and I are actually really good at it and have talked about opening a bakery a lot! #ap3040

A2 I think what would really be encouraging for a new teacher is to have a supportive group of other teachers especially in the same grade level. People they feel they can turn to if they have a question and not feel dumb or ashamed to be able to ask it! #ap3040

@davidncornelius I agree people fall back on teaching because they think it is an easy stress free job they don't think about all the hard work that goes into it

A1 I believe most teachers quit because they do not realize the amount of work and stress that goes into teaching. The money teachers make doesn't help the situation either. #ap3040

A4 As a teacher caring for your students and building a relationship is important. Though there should be boundaries. For example, if they are going to tell you certain things you have to make sure you remind them that you have to report certain things. #ap3040

@MsAlexisTeach I defiantly agree if you show up with a passion instead of a this is work so I have to be here attitude it will reflect in the way you teach. Therefore, making your students more engaged.

A2 As a teacher I would try to talk to them, and see if there are outside problems causing this behavior. I would try to work with them, and also try my best not to just get angry and frustrated. That kind of attitude I feel would probably just push them further into it. #ap3040
