Our launch had great support from local businesses who donated prizes to our raffle. Many thanks to @smithdowneye, @blackcatliv, @DeadInkBooks, @Bleachhairspa, artist Julia Reid. Big thanks to @simonobtv1 for coming to support us, presenting the art prizes + drawing the raffle

During our launch we displayed the 144 entries to our art competition from pupils of @GreenbankSchool, and there were certificates and prizes for the winners. The winning entries were chosen by local artist @Deborah_Butler, who then displayed them in her gallery window.

Thanks to everyone who made our launch event at @GreenbankSchool such a success last weekend. We welcomed hundreds of local residents, raised enough for our next planter, and signed up over 20 new volunteers! #smithdown #liverpool #inbloom

Our first two planters are in position! Look out for them on the pedestrian crossing at the Greenbank Drive junction. We'll be adding flowering plants and flowers tomorrow. #smithdown #liverpool

We have permission from Liverpool City Council to situate 17 planters for flowers and shrubs along Smithdown Road, and at the corner of some Dales and Avenues streets. More info on this and our launch coming very soon!
