I didn’t expect us to get much from our early fixtures with a new boss & so many new faces.
It may take a little time but let’s hope we can gather a few pointsand not be ‘fighting for survival’ while the manager & squad gel

@WestHam Surprised to see both Czechs in the starting line up after playing in the Euros.
Both looked off the pace.
Antonio offered no threat and gifted Onana the first goal.
Coufal totally out of position for the second.
Honestly we should have been dead and buried by half time.

@WestHamView1 Main takeaways for me are that against a team that is low on confidence and doesn’t play keep ball we can be expressive and exciting but also we are terrible at keeping the ball ourselves and panic whenever the opposition apply a bit of pressure.

@WestHamRambles Getting a bit fed up of people saying we should offload players after a handful of appearances. It’s rare that a player can step straight into the premier league and impress immediately. Give him more game time in all competitions and we might get to see his potential.

@goddek That generation had lived and fought through WW2 !! Even after the war food rationing continued well into the 50s !!
They generally ate less and did more physical jobs than we do now.
