Here are 3 major catalysts that explain why this #uranium bull market is likely to be exceptionally violent:
1️⃣ Demand is understated. Supply is overstated.
Most investors have seen charts like this recent one from GS below, showing demand massively outstripping supply. But here’s the key nuance: as Grant Isaac recently pointed out, uranium demand is always underestimated and supply is always overestimated. So if the published charts already look extreme, the reality is likely far more so.
2️⃣ Prices have risen sharply — without real contracting volume.
Spot uranium: $17 (Nov 2016) → $80+ today
Long-term price: $29 (Apr 2018) → ~$86 today
Crucially, the LT price move has occurred at very low volumes, well below replacement-rate contracting. That simply does not happen in an oversupplied market. This means supply is tight. When utilities are forced to contract at replacement levels, the outcome is obvious.
3️⃣ India: the demand story most investors still underestimate.
India is now the most populous country on Earth (~1.46 billion people), nearly twice the population of the U.S. and the EU combined. Electricity demand growth is enormous, and nuclear is a core part of India’s long-term energy strategy. This will matter — a lot — for uranium demand.
So where do you position? Here are a few uranium equities worth considering (and why):
$UUUU – Largest U.S. producer; operating mill with a clear path toward ~5 Mlbs/year
$DNN – Low-cost ISR; potential first new Athabasca project into production
$EU – Slow but steady ISR ramp-up in the U.S.
$CCO – Industry leader with exposure across the entire nuclear fuel cycle
$NXE – One of the largest undeveloped uranium deposits globally
$UEC – Largest U.S. ISR by market cap; heavily ETF-weighted
$AEC – Advancing mine restarts and mill refurbishment
$ISO – Highest-grade uranium deposit globally (Hurricane), plus U.S. production potential and a strong global portfolio
$GLO – Back in after CC review. Financing risk remains, but this is the best uranium deposit in Africa. High jurisdiction risk, but asymmetric upside justifies exposure.
$SYH – One of the best-positioned Athabasca explorers. Tier-one partners Orano and Denison are committing real capital. Denison has entered four new JVs at Russell Lake with up to $61.5M in total consideration. There is a reason for this. As Wheeler River advances toward production, nearby discoveries become extremely valuable. Winter drilling will be telling.
And here my two U.S. exploration favorites with explosive upside imo:
$M.CN (Myriad / merging with $RSH) – Copper Mountain district-scale play (~655 Mlb endowment in region), fully funded with drilling ahead. Early results show up to 60% higher grades and deeper mineralization, pointing to a much larger connected system. Even ~100 Mlb would be huge.
$NOBL – Wyoming drilling ongoing and the success continues: 78% success rate over the 42 completed drill holes, with average GTs several times higher than the typical roll-front cut-off.
There are also several Australian names like Paladin, Boss, Bannerman, Deep Yellow, etc, as well as more North American and African plays, I don´t have time to discuss all here but feel free to mention your favorites in the comments.
Disclosure: I am a shareholder in most of the companies mentioned. $M.CN and $SYH are sponsors. All opinions are my own. Please do your own DD.
if you’re in the UK and actually want to make a difference, look into childrens homes
the sector is cooked
775 kids sitting in unregistered placements right now. ofsted opened 900 investigations into illegal homes this year alone
private providers making 23% profit margins while kids get shoved into airbnbs and caravans. one placement was £1m+ per year for a single child
meanwhile theres a massive shortage of registered managers and qualified staff.
nurses leaving for NHS or retail because the pay is garbage. care workers earning less than shelf stackers at aldi
ive done recruitment for NHS childrens homes and seen it firsthand. theres people with zero background opening homes because they get subsidies and see the margins
ofsted reports are public at
reports. ofsted. gov. uk - scrape them and youll see the pattern
if youre technical, have ops experience, or know people with actual qualifications who want to run proper homes - theres a gap
£440m/year going to unregistered placements
government literally cant find enough registered homes
councils are going bankrupt from placement costs
someone with actual ethics could build something real here and still make money
save the kids
The ancient Romans, Greek, and Chinese ate these plants for centuries.
Modern Americans call them "weeds" and spray them with chemicals.
After looking around I found 8 common garden weeds that contain more nutrients than kale, spinach, and broccoli:

crazy how nobody is paying attention to how AI researchers made the most valuable self-development manual in history
you can literally become more intelligent by copying AI research playbooks
anywhere AI makes mistakes is also where humans often fail:
- hallucinations: how do you know what you know is correct? have you tested it against the real world with real consequences if you're wrong? how are you evaluating?
- context window: do you have a good understanding of the inputs, outputs, and constraints? how do you summarize a conversation to make sure you can transfer it to a different context? are you breaking things down step-by-step and making checklists to solve your problems better?
- few-shot learning: how can you use examples to learn a pattern? what are the mental models you can extract, and how do you know they're right?
- training data: you pay for every piece of content you consume. everything you put into your brain affects the quality of your mind. it also affects the quality of ALL outputs. you become what you consume: do more math and you'll start being more logical overall, not just when solving math problems
- generalizability: can you take concepts from one domain and apply it to another? what are some of the most useful tricks you can take from an unrelated field and apply it to your own? can you still perform well when the context changes (time pressure, higher stakes, different culture, new feedback loops)?
- prompt sensitivity: a small change in wording can change AI output. humans are just as volatile depending on framing, priming, and social pressure. think of "triggers." it's less about truth and more about cues that spark memories
- overconfidence: if the AI sounds right, does it mean it's right? how many of us fall for charismatic "sounds right" if we're given a good enough story?
- reinforcement learning from human feedback: AI models are pushed to be socially correct. how much of what you think has been affected by self-censor, virtue signaling, hedging, conformity, politeness, and reputational incentives?
- multi-step reasoning failures: are you thinking too far in advance without verifying in between? humans lose correctness with multi-hop reasoning unless you get feedback and run checks
- tools and functions: AI gets better with external support like search, calculator, and notes. you can also get better performance with systems, checklists, and environment design
- prompt injecton: people can use social engineering, rhetoric, specific vocabulary to bypass guardrails and create errors. how are you making sure not to fall for the same manipulation, motivated reasoning, or authority?
- benchmarks: when you optimize for a target, you'll get good at optimizing for its metrics. are you optimizing for grades, likes, promotions, status when your actual goal is something else?
- system prompt: how are you looking at the world through the lens of identity, values, and defaults that you carry from culture, upbringing, and roles?
and my favourite one: just because it can make sentences, doesn't mean it can reason (just like a lot of people you might know...)
what else?
⚡️ This is one of the most important truths almost no one talks about.
Anxiety is not fear of the future. It is the mind refusing to accept limits. It is the belief that if you think hard enough, long enough, early enough, you can outrun uncertainty itself.
That belief feels responsible. It feels intelligent. It feels moral.
It is none of those things.
At that level:
•Thought replaces action
•Imagination replaces authority
•Control fantasies replace acceptance
•Endless preparation replaces living
This is where anxiety becomes self sustaining. The mind mistakes vigilance for virtue. It confuses suffering with care. It assumes that letting go is the same as giving up.
So the deeper truth is this:
Anxiety is what happens when consciousness detaches from time. You stop inhabiting the present and start occupying hypothetical futures as if they are real places you must patrol. The body stays here. The mind lives everywhere else. That split is the pain.
Most worries never come true because they were never meant to. They exist to keep identity intact. Anxiety protects a fragile self that believes it must anticipate everything to justify its existence.
The moment that belief breaks, anxiety loses its function. Not because the world becomes safe, but because you remember something more dangerous and more liberating: you were never meant to control reality. You were meant to meet it.

@Frances_Coppola Newborns have lower glutathione (it clears inflammation/toxins). Acetaminophen inhibits glutathione from doing its job. Trigger an immune response (a state of inflammation) then essentially administer a glutathione inhibitor...it's not unreasonable to assume excess inflammation
