Something I was talking with friends about the other day is that the “Cookie Monster Pajama Pants Girl” is such a ubiquitous late GenX and Millennial experience. We’re all from different states but every single one of us knew a Cookie Monster Pajama Pants Girl.
me in clinical psychology grad school: it would be unethical to give you advice, I’m here to help you discover your own insight
me at my actual job every day since grad school: dude for real, you’ve gotta stop buying meth from Skeeter behind the gas station
@BraylonEdward10@CUBuffsFootball@DeionSanders Nice! If you want to get even better grades in even less time, so that you can have more time to work on your game, read my book, especially the last 5 chapters. https://t.co/OdG0aj6KtE
"6th grade level" is subjective, try not to think of it like that. 6th-grade level compared to what? The average dumbass? High-performing Asians from two-PhD households? When someone tells me their kid is three grades ahead in math, I know they don't know enough smart people.
Our house rule is you don't have to go to sleep if you're reading. So my 8 year old is now reading 6th grade reading level because he likes thinking that he's getting away with staying up after bedtime. Win/win.
Unless @Apple's decision to terminate @craigraw's Apple Developer account is reversed by June 30, all new installs of Sparrow will fail, and development on macOS will end. If you value Sparrow, a repost would help. @AppleSupport
every city name in California has three ways to pronounce it:
(1) the Spanish way
(2) the way an English speaker would pronounce it if they hadn't heard the name before
(3) the way locals actually pronounce it, which is neither of the previous two. like San Rafell and Beneesha
One aspect of Jalen Brunson that often gets overlooked- his academic success. He took a bevy of AP classes at SHS (his mom Sandra always made him email his teachers weeks in advance of known absences due to bball), and he graduated from Villanova in three years.
He was as successful in the classroom as he was on the court.
He is a great role model for kids today wanting to succeed in both arenas.
