@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Hahaha. small business with less than 5 employees (you) now have a lower NI bill with the Employment Allowance. I worked in retail for 20years and had my own business for 10! I’m not patronising you just pointing out facts!!
@JamesConaghan8@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 I would say youre mostly correct here and a sensible considered reply. Thank you. I don’t agree this issue was shouted about under Tory’s in the same way and when faced with having to raise tax, what ever Labour do, will be criticised. Also the OBR are notoriously wrong usually.
@JamesConaghan8@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Well there is some truth here and well put. But the OBR are expressing an opinion, and haven’t published any actual fact supporting this, other than all business generally try to suppress wages. And these measures were put in place by the Tory’s until 2028. Labour extended it.
@theturdz@Gracie_Blue89 I get you don’t like him and that’s fine. You just dislike him and blame him for stuff he’s not responsible for! Too much echo chamber social media I suspect. Get out more and do some research. I promise you will feel better!
@Terry_Tenmen@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Wrong again. Tory’s froze it for 7 years up to 2028. So I ask again. What’s the answer? Those figures were set into tax law before Labour came to power making them impossible to reverse (at least without finding the money else where) idiot.
@Terry_Tenmen@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Well that’s a policy that had been in place for a decade before Labour. How do you suggest they undo that? How do you pay for that then?
@Terry_Tenmen@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Wrong again. They haven’t raised income tax. They continued to freeze thresholds the Tory’s had done for 10 years
Working people had less in their pocket for 10 years then! Not a whisper from anyone. Give us your suggestion then for digging us out of this mess left by Tory’s
@Terry_Tenmen@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 and the cost of living is due in big part to the Tory’s selling off all our utilities. So we are at the mercy of the private sector charging what ever they feel like for gas and electric and water etc. we also can’t defend the country as the Tory’s hollowed out the armed forces
@Terry_Tenmen@FogalandBarnes@Gracie_Blue89 Wrong. For starters I’m not a lefty! They did do this. But the Tory’s did it previously for nearly 10 years! Where was your outrage then I wonder?
Good luck with the league btw
@theturdz@Gracie_Blue89 Also, as you appear to have deleted the post. I guess because you realised you were wrong!
The 2024 Labour Manifesto (the one they were voted in on) didn’t mention Council tax. Do some research instead of reading angry Gammon posts on Facebook
@theturdz@Gracie_Blue89 So… as we have discussed no one has named 1 tax raise that impacts the working man. He has done nothing to shut down free speech? That’s social media rhetoric. Boris Johnson is responsible for most of the mass immigration in the last 5 years. Research that, you neanderthal
@LM7seven@1lee18750@Gracie_Blue89 Not for 95% of people no. You can play Symantec’s if you want. But the faux outrage people have around this is exactly that. You’re clutching at straws. Defend the richest edges of society if you want. Just don’t be surprised when they don’t return the favour.
