In several interviews Tupac described his public image as a character he was playing, as he believed it was his divine purpose in life to become a revolutionary who would pull Black America out of what he saw as ritualistic programming imposed by hidden power structures (Illuminati). Those identities were not mutually exclusive. He was raised as a revolutionary, he was a trained actor, and he was a man. All of that was true at once cresting the man/actor/rapper/revolutionary we are all familiar with.

A man does not like being lied to. He does not like people trying to kill him. He does not like betrayal which fueled Tupacs behaviors prior to his murder . Tupac’s longer vision was to become a role model first through music and film, then to move into politics. But dark forces operated against him when they uncovered his plans.

Tupacs mother Afeni, a former Black Panther who had learned how intelligence agencies infiltrated every aspect of American culture , is the one who planted that radical perspective and sense of mission in him. At the end of the day he was still a young man trying to find his way through a complicated world riddled with darkness, secret cults, and hidden covenants.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I’m not sure why this account, and a few others like it, are so determined to label Tupac gay. My family was close to the Shakurs throughout Lesane’s childhood, and from their accounts he liked girls.

Homosexuality is a foreign concept to most people born before the 2000s. Homosexuality is a perspective not a bodily function. In the world Tupac grew up in, that simply was not how life was talked about or imagined.
