@danielchapman86 Outplayed them from start to finish. Standouts for me was Norris and Field. Kelly was the only one off the pace . Same again next weekend please lads !

@MKL_2002 Can imagine Norris,Howlett, cownie, gulliver , rutkis, Lewis and field will be the brits Pete wants to supplement his imports …. Not sure on D but would imagine most are kept …. So maybe Kelly, heath , hunt and rossbottom move on …..

@DonXabi Great signing, and i am sure he will build a fantastic team. Can imagine a bit of a clear out to start so maybe Heath, Rossbottom, Rio and Hunt will move on ...the rest of the brit forwards i would keep

@DonXabi Good to see hin gets some minutes at last. Would suggest as the very raw rookie he doesn’t talk about the locker room as this get taken out of context and he won’t last long in there if he does. Needs to learn this lesson fast or it will be a short career.

@britboy_hockey @MKLightningIHC Also both wont be cheap, i would rather use that part of the budget for better imports. MK have good brit forwards (Cownie, Norris, Howlett, Rutkis, Gulliver,Field, Lewis). That's a good core that would be welcome at any team in the NIHL. Add 3 good imports forward to that

@DonXabi Its a shame because our core of brits are perfect for MK and this level. Next season go with 1 import D, and 3 import forwards and this team will be cooking. Jut need to offload Heath, Rossbottom and Hunt. I would keep every other brit as our core

@britboy_hockey @MKLightningIHC Agreed but my point is valid. There experience is at Elite level not NIHL. Different style of management. Your not coaching Liam Kirk or Dowd your coaching Brits who also have day jobs a lot of them. Lewis Christie is a very good coach who knows the league and the players.

@DonXabi Good win all in. I think Lewis will do a great job but his hands are tied to be fair carrying Janne and Patrik who are both very weak imports. I am still shaking my head that we let Korenchuk go and kept Janne !. Just need to enjoy the rest of the season and prey.

@caird3162 @danielchapman86 Agreed, that 3rd line of Rutkis - Field - Lewis was cooking at the start of the season.......Replace Janne, get another import 2nd line centre. add in the line above we can still do something this season IMHO

@caird3162 @danielchapman86 Disagree, Field adds more than Hunt who just skates around. Field should be 3rd line centre in between Elliot and Rutkis. and Hunt 4th with Rio. Problem is MK have no 2nd line centre so guess Tim trusts him there for his defensive game. But what do i know !

@caird3162 @danielchapman86 To be honest i think the signings of both were a waste of time. Both look lost and are 4th line at best. Heath looks like he is still playing junior hockey. Strange no changes have been made as Janne and Patrik need to go ......
