The 2 signs that were advertising the pavement closure of Harrison Road north end were removed about Wednesday last week. Does that mean the indefinite closure is no longer going ahead today? @edintravel @MerchistonCC ?

Still no signs of ANY work being undertaken on the Harrison Road bridge over the canal after 154 days. Council said bridge closed for up to 6 months, but given no work has actually started, it's likely to be much longer @MerchistonCC @davidfkey @CouncillorCowdy @edinburghpaper

@edintravel That's regarding the rail bridge at the other end of the road. The canal bridge hasn't been touched. Underneath has had a wee bit of spray paint but that's it.

@edinhelp @edintravel No parking cones been out all week on Harrison Road for "Gulley Repairs". No work started yet and not on council road diary or Scottish roadworks site. Please can the cones be at least removed from the disabled parking bay? @davidfkey

@edintravel Any progress on this? Has an inspector been out to see if access could be reopened given minimal incursion? With Harrison Road closed and roadworks on Craiglockhart Ave it's proving difficult moving about.

The imminent closure of Harrison Road will be in place from tonight. This is due to serious structural concerns identified during a recent assessment.

This decision has been made as a matter of urgency to ensure public safety.
