Poorly placed roadworks signs yet again obstructing people trying to get to school and work this morning.
Location is Granville Terrace, both sides of the street, between Merchiston Ave and Viewforth Terrace. @edinhelp please can you get these moved?
@johnrobson87 We agree SUDS would be ideal. If you are planning to give feedback to CEC please include this comment! Apparently there is a jungle of utility cables and pipes below ground and the costs of moving them would greatly increase the project budget.

@LordWoolamaloo@fountainbridge thanks for your support! Please make sure you send your views to the Council, as this will help ensure changes are implemented.
@AggieRand Hundreds of residents have told us that they feel Polwarth Roundabout is unsafe for pavement users and for cyclists. The roadworks in 2024 simply repaved the existing junction. This was our response: https://t.co/Z6keSVstVj
@edinjoiner@Edinburgh_CC These are indicated on the overview plan as seen in the previous post. In front of Margiottas on Polwarth Crescent, near the launderette on Polwarth Gardens and a possible third loading bay in front of the pizzeria and pharmacy on Polwarth Gardens (option 2)
Woo Hoo! Confirmation from Edintravel that the pavement closure is not going ahead this week and has been postponed to mid August when the main demolition will start. @SpokesLothian@LivingStreetsEd@MerchistonCC
