The used Wrangler 4xe Rubicon is an absolute steal right now.
Low-mileage 2023–2024 models are going for low-to-mid $30s, with some even dipping into the high $20s.
As long as it’s in 4-Auto, this thing is faster than every Wrangler except the 392 — and it’s only about a second slower than the 392.
I’m currently at 462 miles on this tank with over ⅜ left, and 216 miles of that has been full electric. I charge at both home and work.
For best highway mileage I run it in manual 8th gear between 60-68 mph. I also installed a Tuned throttle controller because I hated the stock throttle feel.
The engine barely runs, so my oil changes are much farther apart, I’m barely using my brakes thanks to regen, the hybrid system is surprisingly simple, the battery has lifetime coverage, and if you get the Rubicon it comes with the Alpine stereo — which is actually really good.
This thing is legitimately capable off-road and massively misunderstood.
