That is called the standardization of language.
Ukrainian children are to be educated in Ukrainian.
This is an entirely normal thing that every single country does, they educate their youth with the national language.

People are still free to use russian.
Russian is allowed to be used on television but must offer dubbing or subtitles in Ukrainian.

As for books the russians are not allowed to have their books published in Ukraine. However Ukrainians who write in russian are allowed to publish russian language books.

So pretty much everything you just said is false.
Education and research dude. Very important.

This is sad and symptomatic of the distortion of morality and priorities in the west.

A coordinated campaign of misinformation has led a portion of British society to celebrate hamas and Oct.7 as being resistance, whilst they also celebrate the terrorist russian regime and demonise Ukraines national resistance.

This isn't because of some kind of profound moral compass, it is because of anti western indoctrination.

The morality of it is backwards.
