Based on your comment, one would think Iran never armed Hezbollah, never built a state within a state, never turned Lebanese villages into missile depots, never used Lebanese territory to fight Iran’s wars, and never had Hassan Nasrallah openly describe Lebanon as part of a wider Iranian project.

One would also think Iran respected Lebanese sovereignty enough to recall its ambassador when he openly challenged the Lebanese government.

The level of gaslighting is impressive.

اتصل روبيو ليبلغ عون التالي: دع حزب الله وقف كل هجماته على الجيش الاسرائيلي، ولن نسمح لهم بضرب بيروت. اذا لم تقوموا بذلك فهم سيقومون بالتصعيد على الضاحية.

حاول الرئيس عون اخذ موقف عبر الرئيس بري. ولكن رئيس المجلس فشل في اقناع حزب الله. وحاول اخترع جواب مبهم ربما بجنب الضاحية تهجير اخر. لكنه فشل، وليس بيده اوراق ولا ارانب.

اذا كل من يخرج من الضاحية اليوم، ليعلم، ان حزب الله اختار بكامل وعيه، ورغم نصائح رئيس الجمهورية، ومحاولة الرئيس بري، والتدخل الاميركي، ان يعطي الاولوية لمصلحة ايران باستكمال الهجمات الصاروخية، والمسيرات واحتلال الاراضي.

كان يعلم ويدرك ويفهم، واختار مصلحة ايران على اهل الجنوب والضاحية ولبنان.
