The knowledge depth and understanding differs waa . I have personally seen the difference between learning these in 6th year and the lower years especially seeing how cases are being managed practically at the hospital and the additional knowledge added. Making some deductions from why they are doing this drug for this patient and recommendations on some therapies. Some things didn’t entirely make sense in lower years😀. I appreciated them in 6th year. Difference dey waa👍. But doing them is lower years is fine because at least you have some knowledge about the topics when you attempt them in 6th year.
I learnt liver cirrhosis and inflammatory bowel disease in 3rd year/4th year but after learning it in 6th year edey make much more sense now and better especially on the pharmacotherapy and pathophysiologies.
Eg. In 4th year, you get to know ACEIs are renoprotective but in 6th year you have to know the exact mechanism of renoprotection and makes it make sense.
