@Thesixler A serious foodie would probably balk, but I can't tell the difference. It *does* turn out a little soupy, but I strain & keep my, uh, onion broth, for flavour-boosting other things... Such as:
- gravy
- dips
- meat cooking
- soups

@Thesixler That is perfectly viable soup. Rule-breaking experimentation is how I came up with lazy roasted tomato sauce. Never learned to make sauce in a pot. Fuck it. My favourite lazy instant pot thing is caramelized onions. May my solidarity inspire you to keep playing with your food.
