Rep. Tim Burchett has delivered a blistering message on child sexual exploitation, arguing that Americans need to stop sanitizing what is happening.

"They're selling these kids to get raped."

Burchett said predators and those who buy children for sexual abuse deserve the harshest possible punishment, adding:

"People say, 'You don't want to hang those people.' The hell I don't."

He also criticized what he described as weak sentencing, warning that offenders who receive probation or light punishments often go on to offend again.
