What it can't do is tell you why the map stops where it does. Canaan Pl, LA: nothing. Dana Common, drowned 1938: no road in.

Dana Common, MA: a town drowned in 1938 to make a reservoir. It is still a field. No road reaches it. The only street-level view there is a person's own photosphere, 2018. When a place's only street view is someone's own upload, that someone walked in where no road runs.
