@wakeupbarstool Watch for @JPickford1 to become a household name in America. He is the.@Everton that could single-handedly win England, the World Cup as a stellar keeper.
@TheBigMoneyShow I’m sure the “40% of Americans” that have gone for a free meal were 90%+ one gender. 😂 Funny they didn’t reveal the social demographics of the survey. Just “Americans.”
@Benedicta_Bee You don’t have to agree today. Its about respecting the AUTHORITY of the Church and have faith that it’s correct. Hard for Americans. As a recovering Protestant I struggle with Marion doctrines and the Real Presence…I want a reason as a post-enlightenment person. Faith is hard.
@AntPappe @hwslex @iam_shwa I didn’t say “mainline.” I said non-denominationalism is an essentially a non sequitur. Non-denominational “churches” usually align with Baptistic or Pentecostal theology. As a Church Historian, it offends me—people died for those beliefs. Even as a Catholic, I respect that.
@hwslex @iam_shwa “Non denominational” is impossible brother. You believe in a system of theology that is aligned with some tenant of denominational historical theology. “Non denominational” is just a marketing strategy.
@xevekiah If a man had a house and married you then by your logic you all should sign a prenup so that you waive your claim to the deed after your nuptials. If you’re entering marriage with preconceived assumptions of “mine” vs “yours,” you’re starting off on the wrong foot IMO.
@Santiago_Xx1 This exactly happened to me. Never cheated, never ever laid hands on or even thought about it. Just gone a lot for the Army. “Not emotionally available.” Blah blah blah. Give me half for the rest of your life. 😂
@Santiago_Xx1 Well…most states have “no fault” divorce turning marriage into a bona fide retirement plan for the “non-custodial” spouse to use a legal term…that’s USUALLY the wife even in 50/50 custody arrangements. If people want to divorce simply from “unhappiness” that’s fine . No money.
