These little birds carried a painful story from the war in Gaza…
They belonged to my son, Imad, who cared for them every morning—offering them water and food, playing with them, and passing time with their company amid the war.

But one day, an explosion struck close to our tent. Their tiny hearts could not bear the shock, and they died instantly. My son, Imad, was left alone, crying over them, heartbroken because they were his companions in this war.

These birds became silent witnesses to the genocide we are living through😭😭
