I’ve been in the Unification community for almost 2 years and have never seen the words “marketing” or “liquidity” written by the Foundation. Bullish?

Recent Statement regarding UNoDE payments — “Appreciate the conversation and dedication of the community for the last few days and want to clarify some info.

Mainly/simply that running a service such as UNoDE on scale incurs not only development costs, but also enormous server and infrastructure costs. UNoDE is not free to run - it is a service that has its own costs to cover.

As infrastructure costs need to be paid, it's a win-win to allow new users to pay with other crypto which will always be used in preference to pay these infrastructure costs before selling FUND tokens to do so.

It’s a win-win to
(a) allow new users who are not familiar with FUND to enter without friction and
(b) to have as much FUND as possible remain in the ecosystem rather than be sold to cover infrastructure costs.

Payments beyond those covering infrastructure costs will be used to support further development of the overall platform including but not limited to development, liquidity, marketing, etc.

In addition, in order to maintain privacy, UNoDE will always remain crypto only on payments and Web3 sign-in/Identity.

As famously related to online services, if you are not paying a fee for a product, then you ARE the product.

Unlike competitors, UNoDE does NOT save/sell any of the user data, keeping it all completely private to the end user without the option or even possibility for their data to be sold/given to any other party (because it's simply not saved to be able to by purposeful design)

Regarding payments for #UNoDE —

“ $FUND is/will always remain the prefered method of payment for the service. It will give users a massive discount on the service and even more importnatly allow people to lock in prices (similar to the way it does with enterprise & WRKchains)

The intent is to open up the service to as broad of a userbase with minimal friction.

Enabling additional payment methods allows more people to on-ramp to a new service with minimal friction and once the utility of the serivce is realized, they will also on-ramp to the best method of payment for that service which is $FUND.

UNoDE was always intended as a crypto only service which it will remain.
