Medicine wasn't her first love, but it became her life's masterpiece. In 1947, she entered Singapore’s King Edward VII College of Medicine as the only Malay woman among a largely male student body.

Babah jumpa Tun M masa tu still PM dekat masjid nk sembayang jumaat.. dia hairan awt baju Tun selekeh and kedut2 so dia pi tnya.. Tun kata Tun Hasmah xdak (dekat rumah), sbb pegi work trip.. Tun amek ja baju mana2.. Abah ku hairan..

Dia pi tnya polis yang jaga Tun, turns out Tun Hasmah yang letakkan baju everyday untuk Tun pakai, because to her, her husband only job is to think about the country.. Pasal hal rumah and anak2 Tun Hasmah yang urus until benda sekecil2 baju Tun M nak pakai apa..

Aku xsempurna as a wife but to have arwah’s mind set.. no wonder her husband is a great PM.. Al Fatihah
