Dear SM Entertainment @SMTOWNGLOBAL,
We write to you as fans of SMTR25 with deep appreciation for your efforts in nurturing the next generation of talent. While we understand that the members are still trainees, you have also taken steps to publicize their identities through official appearances and performances. With this visibility comes the responsibility to ensure their safety, well-being, and dignity.
We are not asking for much. Only the basic protections that will allow them to focus on training and remain safe in an increasingly public environment. In particular:
1. Transportation & Dorm Security
We kindly request that SMTR25 no longer travel via public transportation. As their public exposure increases, this leaves them vulnerable to privacy violations and unwanted encounters. We also urge SM Entertainment to strengthen measures that protect the confidentiality of their dorm location to prevent any potential incidents involving sasaeng fans.
2. Airport & Travel Security
We appreciate the security provided from their vehicles to the TSA checkpoint. However, we ask that SM Entertainment also ensure consistent protection within the departure hall, where fans and unauthorized photographers have continued to approach the trainees.
3. Styling & Public Image
The styling for SMTOWN Mexico City and L.A. did not reflect the professionalism or visual standard expected from your company. Unfortunately, this has led to unfounded speculation about plastic surgery, which damages the trainees’ reputations at a crucial stage in their development. We respectfully ask that SM Entertainment address and clarify these misunderstandings and protect the trainees from baseless rumors.
4. Protection from Sasaeng Behavior
We are also deeply concerned about the recent rise in sasaeng activity surrounding the trainees. Following them outside of official schedules and filming them during their personal time is unacceptable. We urge SM Entertainment to take firm action against such behavior whether through legal measures, blacklisting, or direct warnings in order to protect the members from harassment and establish clear boundaries for their privacy.
These boys are not only your future artist lineup, they represent the next chapter of SM’s legacy. Please protect them accordingly.
Sincerely,
SMTR25 fans from around the world

This was so disrespectful on the part of @SamsungTVPlus and @SMTOWNGLOBAL , how do you simply CUT an artist’s presentation? Like???? I stayed awake just to see the boys, it’s almost 2 in the morning in my country, what a lack of consideration 🙁
