@ChrisF9080@pikeman4615@mario4thenorth Trump is all Canadians or at least Liberals talk about. Why do you think Carney got elected? As soon as he solves the trade issue he's done. Oooh wait, he hasn't yet, I wonder why?
BREAKING:
The Carney government quietly reversed its own CRTC streaming tax.
The reason, in their words, it "could ultimately fall on Canadian consumers through higher prices."
We were all right.
That's the same argument every critic has made and was told they didn't understand the policy.
This is where it gets worse: the same Liberal government is spending $600 million of your money to undo what it just did, and is directing the CRTC to review its own ruling.
In other words: every critic was right.
The government wasted everyone's time.
And the cleanup costs you $600 million.

Tom Holland says that his non-alcoholic beer brand BERO will release a shandy-style drinks range in honor of Zendaya.
“Zendaya, bless her, has never been a drinker, so she’s never drank beer. She didn’t love the beers we have on sale. The idea behind the shandies was to create something authentic at the company that Z could enjoy.”

Prime Minister,
You promised the "fastest-growing economy in the G7." You delivered the only recession in the G7.
Conservatives are calling for an emergency House debate now to reverse the damage you’ve done.
Just two days after being sworn in, this was Carney's in flight food bill for his trip to the UK.
$52,610 dollars.
Same guy had to audacity to tell Canadians that they will have to make sacrifices.
As Ronald Reagan said: "If it moves, liberals tax it. If it keeps moving, they regulate it. And when it stops moving, they subsidize it."
Pierre Poilievre understands Canada needs less bureaucracy and more freedom to build, work, invest, farm, mine, manufacture, and grow.
@NorthrnPrspectv Carney doesn't like solving difficult political questions, easy ones, answering question in general, or pretty much doing much of...anything, aside from flying around the world 20+ times to make a lot of photo ops. (Kudos to 4 actual binding deals he signed.)
Here is how you get something built fast to respond to a crisis:
FEB. 2022 – Germany decides it needs to break its dependence on Russia for gas.
APR. 2022 – 60 days later, the German gov't permits a brand-new import terminal and pipeline.
DEC. 2022 – Project complete. Gas flowing.
They told me how they did it 👇
Today, Mark Carney re-announced the same Liberal policies that hiked electricity prices by a third and cut production over the last decade: industrial carbon taxes, the anti-development law, the failed Infrastructure Bank, tax credits that businesses do not use, and, of course, more consultations and talk about doing something someday.
More cost, more delays, more of the same. He’s just another Liberal.
The Liberal government has made history: they are now the first government ever to preside over a Canadian electricity shortfall.
In 2024, for the first time on record, Canada could not produce enough electricity for its own people without U.S. imports.
After a decade of Liberals, Canadians are paying 35% more for electricity. Repeating the same grand promises is all an illusion.
The head of TC Energy says Mexico is eating Canada’s lunch on pipelines, with 8 month permitting times.
That’s right: a Canadian company says it is far easier to build in Mexico than here in Canada.
How long are we going to believe the illusion that the Carney Liberals will change anything?
A year ago, Mark Carney promised major projects at speeds not seen in generations. Since then, zero have been approved by his MPO and still no progress on his promised pipeline to the Pacific. Now the Liberals recycle the same promises that Canadians heard before. Why trust them now?
