“Manchester United need to be completely transparent about the Jason Wilcox situation.

Let me be very clear , I'm not accusing Jason Wilcox of wrongdoing. But when a senior Manchester United executive previously worked at Manchester City during a period now under serious scrutiny, the club has a responsibility to answer questions properly.

You cannot simply tell supporters, ‘Nothing to see here,’ and expect everyone to move on.

United have to explain what due diligence was done, what Wilcox's actual responsibilities were at City, and whether there is anything the club needs to be concerned about.

If the club is completely satisfied that Wilcox has nothing to worry about, then come out and say it clearly.

Silence only creates more speculation.

Manchester United need transparency from the top , especially when the issue involves one of the most senior people running the football operation.

The supporters deserve answers, not rumours.”
