Delighted to share my first senior author paper published in @ImmunolCellBiol with @hlhorsnell2 and @SMuellerLab that describes a role for the TF SpiB in lymph node fibroblastic reticular cells and CD8 T cell responses https://t.co/st1mWs6IYm @TheDohertyInst
New non-invasive imaging technique developed by @UniMelbMDHS researchers reveals T cells protect the eye against pathogens & inflammation, previously thought to be the role of dendritic cells.

We show that immune cells resident in the human cornea that have often been called dendritic cells are in fact T cells. These are highly dynamic and respond to stimuli, including contact lens wear. We have lots more to learn about T cell in the eye!
Proud of this new study in @PNASNews https://t.co/16aKiJB5pO. Fantastic collaboration with amazing scientists @DrLauraDownie@holly_chinnery A real eye opener!
