Hi,
I would like to apologize to everyone that received message from this account about the „I reported your account”.
PSA: It’s a scam. Do not let these hackers in. There’s „new session bypass” allowing to change the email from the new session.
Please don’t be as dumb as me
@vivianfatethief This idiot wanted to reset pwd to this account after Twitter gave it back to me. I will be messaging everyone who got DMed apologizing individually, and then, don’t know what will do with this account
Came back from dead just to do some proactive information
Please for the love of god don’t believe the *I reported your account* messages.
These are not real. They only want your account.
For what purpose? Who the hell knows. I know situations where they keep accounts for over a year to run this scam - apparently to get you to send them 250$ (lol)
How do they get you though?
They want to change your email to theirs. Even if, you have “new session” lock, they will ask you for your password (and 2FA) and will change it regardless of that lock
Meaning someone has found a bypass for it and Twitter(X) apparently does not care! I didn’t quite figure it out yet because similar bypasses were a thing over a past few years…
If you end up being “scammed”, click “secure your account” link in the “Your email was changed” email as fast as you can before they deactivate the account. It will change the email back to yours.
Please stay safe cuties and report these accounts so they can at least be banned!~
