@SocialistNHS The government are at fault but 19.5% payrise is not fair to other public sector workers! What about the Police and Firefighters? They also worked during covid and have had poor pay increases. Its becoming difficult to recruit for all of these jobs not just for NHS staff!

The National minimum wage gives you £19,760 pa. Officers start on £21,402pa an extra £1,642!!!!

Everything that is expected of an officer and the restrictions on them for this? Risk life, get assaulted, days off cancelled regularly, abused daily, unmanageable workloads etc, etc.
