For the record, bombarding me with pictures of athletic women to ‘teach’ me that women don’t all look like Barbie is like spamming me with pics of differently-shaped potatoes to prove rocks are edible. I can still see the difference and you look frankly bonkers.
There’ll come a time when the world sees sense. Students in UCD Arts will write about the female trailblazers who stood up for women’s rights.
When they do, names like @RoisinMichaux will fill Theses and assignments.
It is one of my honours of my life to know and support Irish Tervin like Roisin, @_QueenMeabh, @BrayBri70 , @wicklowwomen4w1, @TheCountessIE , @cleancitybird , The Book Club, and the hundreds of others working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring back common sense.
Well done to all the gals, and one man, who travelled from Ireland and further afield to stand up for my daughter.
Denmark highlights Ireland's out of control immigration 'system'. In Denmark there were 950 asylum seeker applications from January to June 2024 whereas in Ireland there were 10,004 for the same period. Ireland is a geographically isolated island and the "end of the line" in Europe (as admitted by the then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar) whereas Denmark shares a land border with Germany. It is simply not geographically possible that the overwhelming majority of asylum seekers enter Ireland as their first country of entry yet the State flagrantly disregarded the Dublin III Regulation by refusing to take action, nor did they apply the Immigration Act by prosecuting those who entered Ireland without passports.Under the Recast Regulations the Minister may refuse to designate IPAS accommodation to asylum seekers who do not comply with their legal obligations under the International Protection Act, yet the State do not invoke this power. Denmark has applied strict immigration policies to combat illegal immigration and to safeguard and protect its people, include detention centres for asylum seekers who breach their legal obligations until such time that their international protection application is processed. Minister McEntee has said on public record during the Oireachtas Committee meeting on the EU Migration Pact that the majority of people in Ireland would not want to follow Denmark. The Irish people have not been asked as the State fear a Referendum on immigration. They know the reality is that the vast majority of Irish people want to follow Denmark's shining light if we have any chance of a future. Denmark is subject to the same international and EU refugee law as Ireland. Denmark and Ireland are the only two countries in the EU that have the legal right to opt of EU immigration measures under the Lisbon Treaty. The State do not serve the interests of the Irish people but instead follow the dictates of their EU and globalist Paymasters. There is something rotten in the State of Ireland. We need a new Ireland, for the people by the people.
@hazechu says "How much communication is enough?" with regard IPAS centres and that the people of Ireland have not option to 'veto' these centres and yet a family of 4 have been ordered to leave their home by South Dublin County Council. Can they veto this? #EnoughIsEnough
A family of four has been ordered to leave the cabin they call home by South Dublin County Council only 5 minutes drive from the Crooksling asylum centre where hundreds of single male asylum seekers are being housed. Video report coming soon.
When people say #HouseTheHomelessFirst they're talking about young mothers with children with additional needs who have been on the housing list for 13years & then are being evicted with very little notice with no options of anywhere else in the country to rent. #EnoughIsEnough
Mother of autistic child about to be made homeless for no reason this is totally unacceptable and can't be allowed to happen landlords and management companies stopping families from being housed the landord who owns this property wants megan to get the house #IrelandisFull
Meanwhile Ireland is still subjecting our children and teenagers to puberty blockers. Another scandal on this government's watch. This is not #GenderCare#ChildrenCannotConsent
"We need to hire a lot more people to process applicants"
"You need to deal with it by ramping up our system and we have failed to do that"
Michael McNamara on why he feels the immigration system isn't functioning effectively.

No, there can be a veto. I am afraid Councilor Hazel Chu is wrong here, I believe, with all due respect. I will say it again, as I have said before, that my understanding of the word veto is a constitutional right to reject a decision or proposal made by a lawmaking body. An official power or right to refuse to accept or allow something. The people are the power. Without the people, you do not have a government. You do this by referendum. This is a democratic country, and it is time we exercised our democracy as we should have with a referendum on the EU Migration and Asylum Pact on how our borders are controlled and how many people we let into this country. Ireland is full. We cannot even look after our own people with regard to housing and mental health care for children. We most definitely need a referendum now! I say again, Yes, we have a duty of care, but neither can we be fools or stupid. Should we accept the Trojan Horse?

Mary Lou McDonalds remarks do not sound democratic. My understanding of the word Vito is a constitutional right to reject a decision or proposal made by a lawmaking body. An official power or right to refuse to accept or allow something. You do this by a referendum. @TonightVMTV "How much communication is enough?" @hazechu is a Councillor in Pembroke, Dublin - one of the most affluent areas in Ireland. How many IPAS centres are there? Is she currently communicating with any of the people who she has been elected to represent about IPAS centres?
Everyone please be fully aware that coolock says no never called for a peaceful protest today the people who organised this have not identified themselves I personally will not be attending this today and i encourage everyone to avoid it #IrelandisFull
By me today: All the taxpayer cash in the world won't change the fact that Sky does sport better, Netflix and Amazon do entertainment better, the internet is rapidly doing news better, and that RTE's core audience is dying faster than it's being replaced.
@gavreilly Gavan, the narrative has changed. You know it, but you just won't report it. Never knew Fionnan had balls, but fair dues to him. What is being asked of the Irish people here is nothing short of scandalous. Be a journalist and do something about it please......
Extraordinary Scenes Between the Media Minister Catherine Martin and Fionnan Sheehan at a press conference today. Full Video in link below.
Sheehan to Minister, "Stop shutting down media scrutiny".
Catherine Martin - "You're always screaming at me"

@fionnansheahan Fionnan, frankly, Media have a lot to account for in all of these issues.
Government know they aren't accountable to anyone because Irish journalists, who once had the integrity to hold power and establishment to account, no longer do so for the sake of toeing gvmt lines.
Questions to Catherine Martin on details of the RTÉ bailout repeatedly shut down. One of the most abject performances by a minister in Government Buildings.
