Let me have your attention:
The gรจlรจ vs I.chaf00l conversation you see every moment on the TL is being sponsored.
It's deeper than you think and the real battle ground is not on X.
These guys have gone on Wikipedia and her sister Websites to vandalise these pages replacing gรจlรจ with I.chaf00l.
We have roundly defeated them on Wikipedia (I won't go into much details) that's why they come here every market day to shout I.chaf00l bla bla.
They are doing this to ragebait you into giving the topic more social media visibility and search engine validation and indexing as they want their actions here to commemorate their efforts on the vandalised pages.
The more you mention I.chaf00l in its correct form beside gele, the more they appear on search engines when gรจlรจ is being searched for.
Don't give them that clout!
1a. Any post that mentions I.chaf00l. Don't engage it, send me, @NoNonsensezone, @og_beeping101 or @nezzylina the link.
1b. Mute the poster.
2. Any Yorรนbรก you see mentioning I.chaf00l or commenting on a post that does so, send them a courtesy DM to explain the danger of what they doing.
3. Always mispell I.chaf00l - this is very important.
4. Their ring leader is that girl approaching menopause coming here to beg for husband daily. Her puuussy is on the TL. When she makes a video and you feel too itchy to reply her, you know what to do.
Starve them of attention and watch them go into oblivion.
We own this street and we alone can decide what trends or not. This is not a battle of gรจlรจ alone. They will come for agbada, fรฌlร and everything that belongs to us but we must be ready.

For the culture ๐
๐ขฬฃ๐๐ โ '๐๐๐๐๐ง' [lol] ๐ผ๐ฟ '๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐'? ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฬ:
Thereโs not one single แบธdo-Benin oral tradition or account which makes the strange claim that '๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ' translates into '๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐' (or even '๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ') โ not one.
There is also no academic source whatsoever for this claim. This gibberish emerged only lately (on the internet) from แบธdo-Benin youngsters who felt compelled to cover up what they perceived to be a cultural embarrassment for the Benin kingdom.
One of the ardent proponents of this gibberish (a certain internet jester, named Imasuen) informed Prince Aghatise (an elder, a member of the Benin royal family and the younger sibling of the Oba of Benin) that he has found the real meaning of ๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ within the แบธdo-Bini language, viz. '๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ/๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐'. He was however informed on the spot: '๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ' = '๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด'; not ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ or ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ. See ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ-๐ญ for his self-report.

The literal derivation (etymology) of the term ๐ผฬฃ๐ฏ๐ฎ is clear & straightforward using Yoruba language. But if we pretend it is originally an แบธdo-Bini term, then linguistic/monarchical incoherence pops up
Using Yoruba language, the etymology goes thus:
The noun '๐ผฬฃ๐ฏ๐ฎ' is rooted in the Yoruba verb '๐ฏ๐ฎ', & this verb (in this context) means: to '๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต', to '๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ'โ e.g. how a hen ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ its chicks.
'แปba' = 'แป'+'ba'
'ba' = to 'lord over'
['แป' โ nominalizing prefix]
'แป'+'ba' = 'one who lords over'
'แปba' = the '๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ' (Q. E. D.)
.
.
With แบธdo language, incoherence is not avoidable:
'แปฬbรก' = 'แปฬ'+'bรก'
'bรก' = 'to pretend'
['แปฬ' โ nominalizing prefix]
'แปฬ'+'bรก' = 'one who pretends'
'แปฬbรก' = the 'pretender' (Q. E. D.)
Given the mismatch between the expected result (e.g. 'leader', 'ruler', 'king', 'overlord', etc.) and this actual result (i.e. 'pretender'); it becomes obvious that 'แปฬbรก' is a loan-word from the Yoruba lexicon.
Rather than concede it, the แบธdo-Bini youngsters resorted to outright deception โ exposed below:
'๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ' = 'to shine'. โ
['แปฬ' โ nominalizing prefix]. โ
'แปฬ'+'๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ' = 'one who shines'. โ
'แปฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ' = the 'light', or the 'shine'. โ
If the actual term in question was ๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ, then ๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ would translate '๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐', etc. But itโs ๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ (not ๐ผฬฃฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ).
This Bini verb ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ (in ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ-๐ฎ) has no connection whatsoever to แปฬ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ (in ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ-๐ฏ), because this ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ (also spelt ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ) has a different tone & stretch from ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ. Hence, ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ๐ฎฬ is a totally different word from ๐ฏ๐ฎฬ.
In sum, the แบธdo-Benin 'แปฬbรก' is simply a loan-word from the actual Yoruba term, 'แปba' (Lit. '๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ')
In fact, the Yoruba verb 'ba' on which this term is based is pervasive in Yoruba language for diverse terms on the idea of head-ship, etc. For example, '๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ' [father], 'i๐ฏ๐ฎ' [captain], '๐ฏ๐ฎรกlแบนฬ' [lording], etc
.
.
As per the term ๐ขฬฃ๐บ๐ผฬฃ in แบธdo-Benin context, this is the unique appellation of the Benin แปba โ just as the unique appellation of Ifแบนฬโs แปba is 'แปแปฬni'; & the unique appellation of the แปฬyแปฬ แปba is 'Alรกร fin', etc
Thus, ๐ขฬฃ๐บ๐ผฬฃ ๐ปโ๐ขฬฃ๐ฏ๐ฎ ๐ปโ๐ฬฃ๐ฑ๐ผ as a phrase translates as: ๐ขฬฃ๐บ๐ผฬฃ, ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฬฃ๐ฑ๐ผ. See Agheyisi (๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ-๐ฐ).
๐ขฬฃ๐ฏ๐ฎ is a quintessentially Yoruba word. It is only in Yoruba language that its literal root can be found.
Cheers!!!
A nation of professional complainers and part time cowards.
Everyday, you people will come on this app to lament that MTN is stealing your data.
Someone finally decides to actually do something about it instead of sitting down to cry like is common with Nigerians.
And all she's asking is for you people to help her sign a petition and provide more evidence that she can use in this fight.
And what do Nigerians do?
They ignore her and act like they're all suddenly too wealthy to care now.
Just 10k signatures, and it's been over 2 days already. Yet over 489k people have seen this tweet.
Tomorrow, you'll wonder why your country is the way it is.
Your leaders already know you're all a bunch of cowards who would rather sit on your hands and complain than demand accountability.
They know you'll never wake up from your sleep and fight for your rights.
Next thing, you'll start tagging Donald Trump to come and save you, like it was your grandfathers that helped them get America to where it is today.
Keep waiting for other people to come and save you, you hear?
Bunch of princesses.
Content creator Samyra slams Cardi B for her fatphobic remarks: โAll Iโve done is ask that you and everybody else unlearn fatphobia.โ
This comes after Cardi B mocked her plus-size fans, dismissed criticism of her comments and refused to apologize.
Cardi B has a long history of making derogatory remarks and engaging in behavior, including calling a gay man a โglitter bottom,โ telling people to dig up their dead family members, sending men to beat up women, and calling children โbitchโ and โmonkey,โ among other incidents. Her latest comments are yet another example of her pattern of degrading people.
