God I fucking hate useless subtitles so much. I've resorted to putting a box in front of the TV so I can't see them. YouTube has a button to toggle subtitles, burning them into the video is extremely stupid and unnecessary

@blacknredtext Sometimes when someone says something extremely stupid or non-sequiteur I'll say something generic and bland to get them to change the subject or to shut down the conversation. It's a tactic I use to avoid annoying, unproductive conversations and/or to deter future interaction
