Most people in France can't afford housing.
They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast.
They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

What’s happening in France is a wake-up call to the entire world. 🌍 The cost of living keeps rising while everyday people struggle to survive. People are tired of working hard just to barely get by. Governments need to start listening to the people before frustration turns into chaos. 💯🙏🏽
It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.
South African Rugby Star Found Dead At Team Hotel In France
South African rugby has been rocked by the sudden death of Lions lock Hyron Andrews, who was found dead at the team's hotel in France on Friday morning, ahead of their historic Investec Champions Cup debut against La Rochelle.
The 31-year-old former Sharks and Sale Sharks player was discovered at approximately 10:15 am in a locked shower cubicle in the spa area of Hôtel Atalante on Île de Ré, near La Rochelle.
Emergency services were called to the scene but were unable to revive him.
French authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, with an autopsy ordered to determine the exact cause. Initial reports suggest an accidental death, with no evidence of foul play.
SA Rugby said Andrews died following an accident involving a fall at the team hotel.
Despite the tragedy, the Lions confirmed that their Champions Cup clash against La Rochelle would proceed on Saturday evening in honour of Andrews, following discussions with the players.
A moment of silence will also be observed before Champions Cup and Challenge Cup matches this weekend as a tribute to the late rugby star.
Lions CEO Rudolf Straeuli expressed his devastation, describing Andrews as a talented player and a valued member of the Lions family who had only recently joined the Johannesburg-based team.
Andrews began his professional career with the Sharks before moving to England, where he represented Sale Sharks. He returned to South Africa earlier this season to join the Lions and had already featured in three United Rugby Championship matches.
The former Junior Springbok leaves behind his wife, Maiglin, and their two young sons, Hendrix and Emerson.
The Lions, SA Rugby and the wider rugby community have extended their condolences to his family, friends and teammates as investigations into his death continue.

S/o to @JustMo_DJ for setting the tone for the rest of this beautiful Sunday afternoon with the dope music on #TheGlobalExperience. 🙌🏽👏🏽 This show never fails to put me on to some fire jams whilst rediscovering older jams that used to set a brother's soul on fire. 🔥
I don’t think people fully understand what’s happening. We’re not being priced out of luxury. We’re being priced out of normal. A house, car, Groceries, Childcare, Insurance,These weren’t extravagant expectations 20 years ago.
🚨 🗣️ Breaking: Ainsley Maitland-Niles on why he refused to take the knee before Everton vs Chelsea:
“Honestly, I feel like these gestures have become formalities. We take the knee before matches, cameras capture the moment, and everyone moves on. But what actually changes?
“I have experienced racism throughout my career, from my time at Arsenal to Lyon and now back at Everton. Yet I rarely see meaningful consequences for those responsible. How many more Black players must suffer before real action is taken?
“Behind every racist insult is a human being being humiliated for the colour of their skin. Imagine giving everything to football, entertaining millions, only to be reminded that some people still believe you are worth less because you are Black.
“I am tired of seeing beautiful messages against racism followed by the same ugly reality. Taking the knee means nothing if the people responsible face no consequences.
“I don’t want another photograph of players taking the knee. I want to see real punishment, real accountability and real change. Black players deserve to feel protected, respected and safe, not just for the 60 seconds before kick-off, but every single day.

It's become painfully clear that structuring our whole society around maximising profit instead of the wellbeing of people and planet was a REALLY terrible idea.

🚨You don't arrest criminals who enter this country ILLEGALLY.
You don't arrest illegal foreigners who got passports and other documents fraudulently at Home Affairs.
You don't arrest foreigners Spaza shop owners who sold poisonous snacks to South African kids and killed them.
Instead, you reward them by registering them as asylum seekers and refugees.
BUT you want to arrest Jacinta and Xolani Zuma for standing up for South Africans???
You are provoking us‼️
