SUSPECT ARRESTED, STOLEN PRODUCE RECOVERED IN MURANG’A COUNTY

Police officers in Ithanga/Kakuzi Sub-County have arrested a suspect and recovered stolen pineapples during a patrol.

The officers, drawn from the CIPU and working in collaboration with private security, intercepted and arrested the suspect within Field 12 at Del Monte Farm.

A total of 103 fresh pineapples, believed to have been stolen from the farm, were recovered. Upon arrest, the suspect was placed in police custody pending arraignment in court.

The National Police Service continues to urge members of the public to support efforts aimed at combating crime by sharing information via the toll-free numbers 999 and 911, or anonymously through #FichuaKwaDCI on 0800 722 203 / WhatsApp [phone].
