I'm 18 years old Kim Woonhak, right before debut. I'm so nervous, but also excited. The company told me to practice taking selfies, but it is really hard. Will I get better at it in 3 years? I don't know. But for now, I will just keep trying.
What will our team name be? Am I doing well? It still doesn't feel real yet. At the very least, I hope that in about 3 years, we will be able to release a full-length album, and I want it to be of incredible quality, something that truly captures our youth.
I wonder if I will be even cooler by then. I look forward to it. And to my future fans, I want to say this: I love you. Even if this is just a small beginning, I will make sure you never regret walking this journey with me. I hope for the day when I can become a part of your life.

a former staff member shared a heartwarming anecdote about woonhak 🥹

“i have a heartwarming story about woonhak that i’ve really wanted to share. i hesitated at first bc i thought i was going overboard, but i carefully decided to write this in hopes that more people would know about it.. ㅎㅎ

i once worked briefly as a staff member. although i am currently doing a different job bc it was difficult and it doesn’t suit me—but there was one particularly exhausting day while i was working there. at that time, woonhak said, “everyone must be having a hard time, but you've done such a great job, really!” and gave us so much encouragement. he even went around to each staff member individually, handing out water.

i’ve met a lot of kind people while working in the entertainment industry, but it was my first time meeting someone whose warmth felt so genuine and sincere. i even remember silently crying in the restroom bc i was so touched by his warmth ㅎㅎ

i truly hope that woonhak becomes an even bigger star so that his kind heart, warm smile, and comforting voice will reach even more people”
