If you would’ve asked me what the future of technology would be like back in 1994, I’d never had said “Gigantic big screen TVs will cost half the price of a phone, and be cheaper than a 27 inch now.”
@AppleTV I’m so disappointed to hear that there won’t be a 3rd season of Schmigadoon. You’ve broken many theater kids’ hearts. Hopefully another platform picks it up… and since there’s no release date for Severance anytime soon, I have no reason to subscribe anymore.
I don’t do this often, on this platform, but I want to thank @TonightShowPR for promoting 2 Broadway shows at top billing tonight! Can’t wait to see @ECMerrilyWeRoll and @HillaryClinton’s Suffs!
@milesofgray So many teachers have Amazon Wish Lists, and we LOVE any donations thrown our way, but there are also districts currently forbidding teachers to have these lists due to “school policy (ridiculous given all teachers pay for personaly, right?) so speak up if this is your district!
@milesofgray Thanks for the teacher ❤️! Just found out I’ll have a class of 34 8th graders in my Sci lab before lunch this year. Policy is: no snacks in school except lunch. With 34 kids & just me in the room, they could decide it’s Donner Party time and I’m 1st to go. Send help
Remember when you were a kid and you just watched whatever sequel that was being played on the free HBO trial without any knowledge of what happened in the first movie? Still to this day I’ve not seen the 1st Major League. But I can recite ML2 by heart. I’m not ashamed.
All the people out here saying “I was given homemade formula and it worked for me” really make me understand how millions of people voted for Trump now…
So, yeah… “If you praise a person who aborted a tape worm because it what was best for himself, then I hope you praise others who abandoned their homes because they saw a spider”…
Saying”just breastfeed & stop being lazy by giving formula”in response to a formula shortage is like saying “stop being lazy & just walk up the steps instead of using the elevator” Not all humans can easily use steps. In fact it’d be like 50% of humans not being able walk at all.
In another “the 90s were wild” throwback, the song “Cotton-eyed Joe” was an international number one hit in 1994, copied from an American pre-civil war folk song, remade by the Swedish band Rednex. And every 8th grader at the time danced to it at their middle school dance.
Yep. @AbbottElemABC From a teacher: this is what it feels like. Thank you for being a funny, heartwarming, and pretty on-point depiction. Best show this season.
