This bird came into care at IFAW's Beijing Raptor Rescue Center (BRRC) last June after it was mobbed by magpies and severely injured.

A family walked 10 miles to the Polish-Ukrainian border towards safety.

Their 12-year-old dog kept falling down and couldn’t walk anymore so they carried him the rest of the way. 🧡
