@emgbar that's insane. in australia it seems to be typically done under general anaesthesia in hospital. i guess that's probably because of our healthcare system? it was totally painfree for me (other than some cramping in the days after!). im so sorry this isn't everyone's experience.

@leilacohan ive had an iud to prevent my period due to endometriosis for around 5 months. i haven't had a period since it was placed, until this week. over the weekend i was crying at the dumbest things and wondering wtf is wrong with me. turns out id forgotten how my body reacts to periods
