Encrypted peer-to-peer messaging powered by blockchain. No central server. No message ownership by platforms. Messages shouldn't live on someone else's server.
Telegram and Signal are great Web2 tools, but they still rely on centralized infrastructure.
Over the next 3 years, wallet-to-wallet communication will become as normal as sending tokens.
That future doesn't have to be 3 years away.
Try Snapchain.

Imagine an app with:
- No email/phone number required
- No centralized database to hack
- No shadowbanning
Just your wallet, your keys and immutable data delivery. Meet Snapchain. Web3 native, fully on-chain.

Quick question for the Web3 community:
When testing a new dApp, what matters most to you?
- Seamless wallet login (Account Abstraction)
- Zero gas fees (Sponsored txs)
- End-to-end on-chain encryption
- Early tester incentives / Airdrop potential

Why did we choose @0xPolygon for an on-chain messenger?
1. Sub cent transaction fees (micro gas)
2. Ultra fast finality
3. Robust, scalable EVM ecosystem
Messaging on-chain shouldn't cost you too much per text. On Polygon, frictionless decentralized chat is finally real.
What's the #1 feature you look for in a Web3 messenger?

Web2 messaging apps claim to be private but their centralized servers hold all your metadata, IP addresses and contact graphs.
If your server goes down, your identity goes down.
That's why we're building Snapchain Messenger 100% on-chain communication on @0xPolygon.
True ownership starts with private, censorship-resistant messaging.

Snapchain is now live on Product Hunt!
We're building a fully decentralized, end-to-end encrypted Web3 messenger powered by Polygon, sending messages for ~$0.001 with ZERO central servers and no annoying wallet pop-ups.
iOS and Android cross-platform prototype is already working! We'd love your feedback, thoughts, and support on

Why am I building a Web3 messenger?
At some point, I started asking myself a simple question, what would a messenger look like if it didn't rely on a company's private messaging backend?
I wanted to find out. Not just as a business idea. I wanted to see if I could actually build it. So I started building SnapChain. A Web3 messenger built exclusively on Polygon.
There is no proprietary SnapChain backend storing or routing your conversations. Messages are encrypted on your device before being published to the blockchain. The recipient retrieves the encrypted data and decrypts it locally.
The basic messenger already works. I'm now finishing notifications, performance improvements and preparing the first public test and I'm building SnapChain in public from zero.
If you're interested in Web3, Polygon, privacy or decentralized communication, follow along.

Today was a small milestone but a big moment for me. I sent my first 'Hello World'
Not through WhatsApp
Not through Messenger
Not through Signal
Through a messenger I've been building from the ground up, a decentralized application (DApp) running on blockchain technology. A few simple words on the screen but behind them there is a whole system working:
- generating ephemeral encryption keys
- encrypting the message
- storing only encrypted data on the blockchain
- allowing only the intended recipient to decrypt it
For most people, 'Hello World' is just a test message. For me, it is proof that the foundation I've been working on for months actually works. The project is still evolving. There are many things to improve, many features to add and many challenges ahead.
But every big project starts with a small milestone. Today was mine. I wrote more about how the message flows through the system from encryption to blockchain storage and final decryption.
This is just the beginning.
