I found new-to-me creatures last weekend (sea hare!) and familiar tide pool inhabitants (anemones!). Even though I was far from my computer, my goal was the same as when I'm working: move deliberately to uncover the details that make the experience meaningful and memorable.

I visited California tide pools during a recent low tide. Scrambling over rocks to look for sea creatures was a lot like content design.

Both require close attention to detail. Pay careful attention, and you'll be rewarded. Rush, and you may miss something spectacular.

@herfirst100K Just listened to E25. I met my husband on the subway in Brooklyn JUST LIKE THAT. Our wedding party took the subway from the ceremony to our reception in full wedding attire to honor how we met. Still married 22 yrs later. #truestory #believe

@artlust @rocombo I’m moving from years in exhibit development to UX writing, and my heart is also broken. But I am excited to make connections with users that I’ve been unable to forge with museums. After shouting into the wind for so long, I’m ready for a change.
