This morning the babies have created some Hungry Caterpillar inspired healthy muffins using the fruits from the story! They helped by mixing, pouring and scooping all of the ingredients together 🐛🧁
Babies went to The Downs for a trip this afternoon. After having some yummy snack they discovered a rope swing which they all explored together. We investigated the local area after and found conkers, sticks, leaves and berries!🌳🌿🍂🍃
Today, Butterflies have been using the resources from our bear hunt trail to make potions in our water tray! The children chose to add lots of grass and mud and then used our big mixing spoons to mix it all up! Some of them used the jugs to pour more water into their potions!
This afternoon in babies we have been exploring some sensory trays inspired from we’re going on a bear hunt! We had grass, mud, water(river) and twigs and leaves (forest). The children were really interested in the different textures, particularly the mud and water! #bearhunt 🐻
Today our butterfly babies ventured out on a walk to our local field to explore some nature! On their walk they found a holly bush, a blackberry bush, some pine cones, a huge stick and even some apples that had fallen from a nearby tree!
To keep cool in this hot weather we got the paddling pool out! Our babies loved splashing and going down the slide into the water 💦 We all had lots of fun and got very wet! #Summer
Today in butterflies we have been mixing potions! We looked at lots of different flowers, explored their colours and how they smelt and then we added them to our water tray! We had lots of fun mixing our potions in the garden🌸🌼🌺
