Apparently there is something different about how the new iPhone 12 models take Live Photos, causing Snapthread to recognize them as still pictures instead. I’ll be working on a fix ASAP. -Becky
Snapthread 2.4 is now available with support for iOS 14 and its new limited Photos library feature. There’s also a slick new drop down menu for changing your video’s aspect ratio. ✨
Snapthread makes it easy to share all your favorite autumn memories! 🍂🍁🌻🎃
Just select your photos and videos, choose an aspect ratio, add a title and soundtrack (optional), and tap “Save” or “Share.”
If you experience any crashes when scrolling quickly through your photo library, please know that this will be fixed by iOS 13.1, which is due to arrive on September 24.
Version 2.2 is live on the App Store! You can now auto-generate a movie for any month you search for, and the UI has been tweaked to match iOS 13’s style. (Note: this update drops support for iOS 12 and below) https://t.co/F4Fx7wtBb4
@michael_tigas Hi Michael! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I’m guessing that bug is not fixed in the latest version; I’ve been running into a lot of strange edge cases with Live Photo videos having unexpected dimensions/orientations.
