A guy at the pro shop today said that his “swamp ass is so bad he was hydroplaning on the toilet seat”. Never heard that one before. May be adding it to the bag.
Tragic news.
I’ve said for years that if something were to happen to me on the job, it would probably be in a crew hotel shuttle van or bus. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve thought we were about to be in a serious accident.
Back when I flew domestic trips, we usually rode in a 10-passenger crew van, and the captain almost always sat in the front passenger seat. More than once I’ve had to tell the driver to slow down, stop because the light was red, or watch out because another vehicle was about to drift into our lane.
Most shuttle rides are uneventful, but there have been enough close calls over the years that it’s hard not to think about them when I read a story like this. Whether it’s limited experience, inadequate training, fatigue, or simple distraction, transporting flight crews deserves the same emphasis on safety as every other part of the operation.
My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
I’m very glad birthright citizenship has been upheld.
But it is fucking insane that three Supreme Court justices just ruled that the President of the United States can change the Constitution with an executive order. Are you fucking kidding me? These people are hacks.
The decision should have been 9-0.
At least a dozen of the men who debated and voted on the Fourteenth Amendment in 1866 would NOT have been citizens under Trump’s EO.
They were not voting to disqualify themselves as Americans.
Insane, ahistorical and un-American argument.
