@cjohn101@su4eranio@domjdietrich Yes because the academy players all left at 15 when we was in admin. 3 went to Man Utd Jellyman went to Villa all would be around 20 now and pushing, Samsβs played a few times
@su4eranio@cjohn101@domjdietrich Transfer
Fees and actually playing- the more academy players you have means less transfer fees needed to fill the squad others as well Whittaker eboslele max lowe
@su4eranio@cjohn101@domjdietrich Sold cashin for 10 million, bird, few years out of Sibley, delap millions, Jellyman millions, Kaide Gordon, knight, academy comfortably pays for itself
@kevinhunterday They were the days- also miss walking away from the ground and there was always a bloke on his own with the radio next to ear telling everyone the full time results
When TV companies are billing a game as "this one has no VAR!" like it's a breath of fresh air for them too, you have to wonder who it is still in place for. Match-attending fans told you they wanted it gone years ago. Now TV have had enough?
I hereby decree that when the next of these VAR outrages occurs (so Tuesday then), anyone who says "the rules" in their support of the decision, should be taken by the left leg and thrown down the nearest staircase.
When VAR was first mooted, all fans thought it would be for when that forward was two yards offside. Or when that defender punched the ball off the line.
Not for this computer dominated, mathematical, slide rule, new rules bureaucracy.
Football got hijacked by office workers.
Sack the HT interview off already, captain of the side has to go and answer generic questions for a couple minutes before going out for the second half to speak to his team.
Horrible.
