@GadSaad An exit tax means you are a slave and you have to purchase your freedom. It's the next best thing to Soviet walls to keep people in. This is modern communism.
@IceSolst Next gen techies on the way. How many of us starting learning to break things and break into things because we needed a way over, around, or through some organized or proprietary BS.
Almost. Sometimes people just want to set it free. The founding fathers and the original US constitution was an example of that. Elon might be another, time will tell and history will judge. We just have to wait and see. Europe has always been an excercise in control. They have never known any better.
@elonmusk At some point we'll all have to meet in secret so we can decide which issues to use reverse psychology on. OH NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT! Since they just oppose whatever we're for.
@vxunderground It was funny. I giggled and liked the post. Arch nerds believe they are superior to other Linux nerds and constantly say so. Constantly. Say. So.
It's caused by the attitude that it is more important for women to have a career than a family. Women are raised with the mindset that they must make money to be a human of worth. We used to be raised with the ambition to marry well and have a family. Of course, when men lost the ambition to be providers and divorce became easy, women had no other choice. So it was both men and women.
@kmcnam1 Pretty sure there are no phone parts not made in China at this point. It would probably be healthy to have more competition in the market 🤷♀️
@ApexSeeker_ The mind is one of the most flexible, resiliant, and powerful tools a human has. It can behave like a superpower. You only think minds are broken, but they can be rebuilt as long as the body is healthy enough (no illness or physical injury to the brain).
Legacy media is now pushing another narrative:
“Virtually all of Elon Musk’s wealth came from government help.”
This is completely false.
Government contracts are not subsidies.
SpaceX wins contracts because it offers the best product at the lowest price. NASA pays SpaceX for real launches, real cargo missions, and real astronaut transport, not charity.
SpaceX is expected to get less than 5% of its revenue from NASA this year.
Add up every government incentive Tesla and SpaceX have ever received, and it is still less than 2% of the value of Tesla and SpaceX.
Tesla did not become the world’s most valuable car company because of tax credits. It became huge because it built better EVs, better software, better batteries, and the best charging network.
And when the $7,500 EV tax credit was removed, Tesla sales increased.
The real reason they’re obsessed with Elon Musk is that he exposed how irrelevant they have become.
People no longer wait for newspaper editors, TV anchors, or corporate journalists to tell them the truth.
Legacy media lost its monopoly on information.
Now all they have left is clickbait, outrage, and anti-Elon narratives.
And that’s exactly why the trust in media is at an all time low.
