Police stormed a Sunday service at Early Rain Covenant Church in Sichuan while families and children were worshipping. More than 30 people were detained. Church leaders remain in custody.
Yet worshippers kept singing.
The CCP calls this “religious freedom” while treating independent faith as a threat. From churches to Tibet’s monasteries to Uyghur communities, the pattern is repression, control, and forced loyalty to the Party.

here’s the list of promises Trump made and broke.
Promises made. Promises broken. Every single one.
He swore he’d end the Ukraine war in 24 hours, before even taking office. Day 1 came and went. February 2026 marked the 4th anniversary of Russia’s invasion. Still no peace.
2/12 “Prices will come down on Day 1.” They didn’t. Families paid roughly $2,120 more in 2025 because of inflation. 61% of Americans say they’ve had to cut back on groceries.
3/12 He promised to cut energy bills in half within a year. “50 percent cheaper,” he said. Instead, electricity prices rose. He also promised $2 gas. The national average sits at $2.82.
4/12 He promised a manufacturing boom. Over 75,000 manufacturing jobs have been lost since his trade war began.
5/12 He promised “better health care for less money.” Premiums soared, and 1.4 million fewer people enrolled in ACA coverage this year.
6/12 He vowed not to touch Medicaid. Then he signed the largest health care cut in history, nearly $1 trillion slashed from the program.
7/12 He said he’d balance the budget. They’re not even trying. The deficit is bigger than ever. The government still needs to borrow nearly $2 trillion this fiscal year.
8/12 He promised to release the Epstein files. The Justice Department missed its legal deadline and put out heavily redacted documents. Once his own name surfaced, he changed course.
9/12 He said he’d only deport violent criminals. That got walked back, now they deport everyone they can , including a child and his father taken from a Minneapolis driveway and shipped 1,300 miles to Texas.
10/12 He promised cheaper eggs and groceries. Coffee is up nearly 35% and beef over 21% since early 2025.
11/12 “No new wars.” He struck seven countries in 2025 , launched a direct war with Iran , and ordered a raid on Caracas to capture Maduro 48 hours after wishing for “peace on earth.”
12/12 Caught on all of it? He now says he “didn’t guarantee no war.” Just like Ukraine, suddenly that promise was “said in jest.”
Happy Father’s Day!
Remembering fathers unjustly imprisoned, and fathers abroad separated from their children.
In absence, an ode is still sung.
父親節快樂!
記念無辜在囚的父親們,以及與子女分離的海外父親們。
在缺席之中,仍有人默默謳歌。
