During these difficult times, our most vulnerable #ottawa residents need our support.
Today I spoke with @harleyf & @OttawaFoodBank CEO @MichaelMaidment about how we can help.
Harley has agreed to donate $1—up to $10k— to @OttawaFoodBank for every RT this gets!
@SunwingVacay is not concerned about their customers, they would rather you travel take the risk instead waiving their admin fee to cancel and get a travel voucher @SunwingVacay
WHO 'deeply concerned' about spread of coronavirus to low-income countries, says even nations with good health capacities have struggled to cope. Says number of cases worldwide is approaching 170,000 with 6,509 deaths. Says message to countries is 'test, test, test.'
Something needs to be done where we as customers don't feel we are being punished because we had to cancel our trip due to it not being safe to travel at this moment. Not to mention the massive wait time to speak to someone regarding this issue @SunwingVacay#covidontario
and I'm not willing to take the chance of being stuck in a different country with a child, and not being able to return home. I'm not looking for a refund, I'm looking for a voucher for the amount I paid for our trip, which I will use at some point with Sunwing. @SunwingVacay
As you may be aware other airlines are not charging to cancel or are giving their customers a voucher because of the sensitivity of the current situation with what's happening in world. Our Canadian government is encouraging all Canadians to return home 😔 @SunwingVacay
It was not my intentions to cancel, I did it for my sons and I safety. It's inhumane that Sunwing is charging families a fee to cancel their vacation. @SunwingVacay

Hello Sunwing, as a costumer who purchased an all-inclusive package with you in January to vacation in Cuba March 18th. The world is in a panic right now and because of that I had to cancel my vacation and now I'm being charged a fee to do so. @SunwingVacay
